Water is Extraordinarily Precious!

I'm thirsty and I don't want to get dehydrated that will leave my lips cracked and my body weak.  I need to drink water not only every couple of hours and every day but all throughout my life as long as I have the (not so free) access to it.  Water is a precious commodity that is very essential for every human being's everyday existence.  Without water we can't cook our food, drink our favorite beverages, wash our dirty clothes, clean our comfortable rooms in our homes and the most important thing is we can't take our personal hygiene consisting of taking a bath and brushing our teeth.  Water is very essential in our daily existence in this planet not only for the human being but for the animals, plants and other living things that will not survive absent this special and magical element.  It has been said that people can survive much longer without a food but can't stay long without a water.  A single drop of water can dampen the thirsty lips and save some more of a precious time of living.

I was able to witness a dying plant that almost got completely withered if not for the timely saving grace of sprinkling a needed amount of water to let it go back to live standing still in it's pot and embrace the sun's glare.  Water is valuable to this planet where we live and exist and I wonder why people do not value it since I was able to witness and saw some people who wasted enough of it instead of preserving and conserving it just in case in the future we will run out of it.  It is true that we can regain back a droplets of water through water's life cycle.  But we may regret it that in the end we may just discover the scarcity of it that it may cost more than the value of our food in the table or double and triple the price of our gasoline.

Life is too short to be wasted and so with water.  Water is in abundance now but who knows in the future if the supply of it will make our life more miserable as it may become no longer a cheap commodity.  Water nowadays isn't free as often pay for it with our local water facility just to have an ease of access for a clean water at our homes, offices, etc.  I envied those real free water that was once enjoyed as completely free from the streams, lakes and ponds that some of them exists until today.  Water is essential for our survival and it is indeed extraordinarily precious.  It is not yet too late for us to preserve or conserve our water sources.  My own act of saving and preserving my water consumption may help a lot.  

April is coming!

Hurray! April 1 is coming and that it is next week the first Tuesday of the month.  April Fools' day is fast approaching and is a perfect time for pranksters to celebrate and find victims once again.  You should beware of hoaxes and pranks that will actually turn out as a joke or a kind of a humor that everyone will give a laugh about their victims on this particular day.  

I have to mentally take note of this date too to be cautious of any pranks that may delight the senses of the people who just want to make other fall as victims on this day.  April fools day are not a day for the fools but can be a disastrous day for victims of pranks.

2014 Wish List

Today, as of this writing is already in the 3rd week of March 2014.  Before the new year starts I have some things listed on my wishlist invisible to anyone and only kept in my mind.  I have to document it here my wish list or things to accomplish this year of the wooden horse.  Some of those wishes were already accomplished in the first couple of months.  I never thought that those things could happen to me even though we are still approaching to the middle of this year.  I am so much thankful to the almighty God high up above who constantly guide me to be safe always, continuously and boundlessly shower me and my family with blessings and good health.

Below are my wish list that is not yet complete since I am planning to edit this post in a couple of months.  Everything is not permanent in this life as well as with any one's blog post , heh  :(

1. To join a 21 kilometer or 42 kilometer marathon - This wish has been already fulfilled last January.  I joined in the 21 kilometer category of Cebu City Marathon.
2. To travel outside of Cebu - Last February, employees of the company where I work with went to Ilocos Norte.  I really love the places that we visited: Vigan City, Saud Beach, Pagudpud, Paoay, the list of places with the corresponding story to tell looks like endless to enumerate here.
3. Mountain climbing -  This month of March, a coworker invited me to join a trail or mountain hike or climb.  I enjoyed it despite the very difficult obstacles of climbing vines, wall of stones and slope boulders of rock.  One of the rock enough to kill or injure a person accidentally loosened it's gripped on the trail route and I consider myself alive and lucky.  I was not able to sleep early at night thinking about the negative possibilities it could do to me since if I was not able to hide in the left side of a rock boulder I probably was hit.  Thanks to God for the never ending protection to me.
